D:FUSE is under new ownership.

Greetings everyone, my name is Cameron and I have recently taken over from Yuki as the owner of D:FUSE Aromatherapy. Over the coming months I am hoping to introduce some new products to our range. These will most likely include some nice natural balms and natural soap products. If there is anything that you would particularly like to see in our range, please by all means drop me a line and share your thoughts. The diffusers are all new to me, should you have any specific query regarding them I may have to get information from elsewhere before responding to you. That being said if there is anything I can help you with please feel free to email me and I will do my best to provide whatever you need.

This month we are showcasing Cinnamon.

Cinnamon Bark essential oil offers applications in aromatherapy that help mind and body. It is rich in bioactive nutrients that have been used for centuries to help the human body heal. In China it has been used as medicine since before the time of Christ, it is also highly thought of in Ayurvedic medicine.

Inflammation and Pain Relief

Overworked muscles and joints are soothed by its ability to ease inflammation and pain. It improves the circulation allowing toxins to be removed, which in turn calms and soothes the inflammation.

Mental Fatigue and Mood Elevation

The chemical constituent Cinnamaldehyde is responsible for its warming, soothing, comforting effect when used in a diffuser. It may help those who have neurological conditions such as Parkinsons or Dementia. A study conducted on mice showed improved motor function, protection for the neurons and normalization of neurotransmitter levels.

Infections and Afflictions

May assist with invasive infections, Cinnamon Bark Oil may help combat fungal, viral, bacterial and parasitic conditions when used in a diffuser. It is prudent to perform a skin test prior to adding Cinnamon Bark Oil to your regular topical applications.

Cholesterol and Blood Sugar

Several studies have been conducted to ascertain the effect of Cinnamon Bark Oil on lowering cholesterol, as yet the results are inconclusive, however it does appear to reduce cholesterol levels in some subjects. Blood sugar levels may be improved using Cinnamon Bark Oil in your diffuser, as some studies have shown some patients successfully reducing their insulin dosage and some showing less resistance to their current insulin dosage.

Digestion and Digestive Upsets

With the Christmas season fast approaching and all of the upcoming parties, we have the tendency to consume more in the way of rich foods and things we wouldn’t ordinarily eat. So, it may interest you to know that Cinnamon Bark Oil can assist with healthy digestion, may help with digestive upsets and possibly even reduce some of the unhealthy cravings we may experience over the silly season. In conclusion Cinnamon Bark Oil is a very useful addition to your collection, especially at this time of year.
